Who We Are

WM-Net is a clinical consortium that brings together investigators from 24 academic medical centers with deep expertise in Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM). The network is led by academic clinician-researchers and is dedicated to designing and conducting scientifically rigorous clinical trials that advance care for WM patients worldwide.

WM-Net is supported by the International Waldenström’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation (IWMF), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit patient organization that funds research, support and education on WM. WM-Net is also supported by other generous donors and foundations.

Funding & Sponsorship

WM-Net clinical trials and related research activities may be supported by:

  • Philanthropic gifts and family foundations

  • Nonprofit organizations such as the IWMF

  • Participating academic medical centers

  • Industry partners, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies

All WM-Net studies are:

  • Led by academic principal investigators

  • Conducted under institutional review board (IRB)–approved protocols

  • Run in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory requirements
